Whether you're stepping into the studio for the first time or returning after a break, these classes offer a chance to stretch, strengthen, and express yourself through dance. No pressure, no performances — just the joy of moving in a way that feels good.

Our current classes include:
🩰 Adult Ballet 1 — Beginner-friendly foundations
A gentle introduction to ballet, perfect for those with little or no experience. In In the first 5 week block, we’ll focus on barre work and explore the flow of port de bras (graceful arm movements). You’ll build strong foundations in posture, strength, and musicality — all in a relaxed, supportive setting.

🩰 Adult Ballet 2 — Some experience required
This class is for those who have done some ballet before and want to keep building on the basics. With an emphasis on technique, control, and expressive movement, over the first 5 weeks we’ll spend some time at the barre and then focus on developing port de bras. Gently move your body, build strength, and reconnect with the uplifting energy of dancing to music.

🩰 Adult Ballet 3 — For returning experienced dancers
This class is ideal for dancers with previous advanced ballet training who are ready to return to more challenging work. Whether you're brushing off the cobwebs or refining your technique, we’ll revisit key elements of classical ballet with a focus on expression, coordination, and musicality. The emphasis is on exploring advanced steps and terminology, without the pressure to dance at full intensity — feel free to lower your leg height and take things at your own pace. In the first 5-week block, expect a full barre followed by centre work, all in a supportive and encouraging environment with uplifting music.

💃 Adult Jazz Fitness — No experience needed
Get moving with an energising mix of dance and fitness. This fun, upbeat class combines simple choreography with great music for a feel-good workout that targets cardio, strength, and flexibility. Come as you are — no dance background required.

Taylah brings a vibrant energy and a wealth of experience to our MOTION by Premier Jazz Fitness classes.
With over two decades of training across multiple styles, she holds a Certificate III in Dance, a CSTD Jazz Teaching Certificate, and an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts from Conroy Performing Arts College.
​
Her professional credits include performances on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas and at Disneyland California Adventure Park in Los Angeles. Taylah has worked internationally as a choreographer and dance educator, including full-time roles at Hong Kong International School and Kennedy ESF School, as well as teaching and choreographing for studios across Australia and Hong Kong.

Taylah’s classes are dynamic, welcoming, and empowering — perfect for adults looking to move, express, and have fun through dance.
​
Gail will be leading our MOTION by Premier Adult Ballet 1 & 2 classes, bringing warmth, expertise, and a lifelong passion for dance. She holds a CSTD Tap Diploma and has taught a wide range of syllabi including RAD, BBO, BAL, ATOD, and CSTD, preparing students for examinations and performance with care and precision.
​
Gail’s performance background includes roles with the Canberra Philharmonic Society, the Strike Up The Band series, and Steps Dance Company, as well as professional modelling, commercial work, and promotional appearances across Australia.
​
She continues to choreograph for Eisteddfods, teach private lessons, and share dance through community events and charity work. Gail’s classes are supportive, expressive, and perfect for adults looking to enjoy the grace and strength of ballet at any stage.

Tristan leads our MOTION by Premier Adult Ballet 3 class with a strong classical foundation and years of professional experience. He trained at Premier Dance from age eight, completed his RAD Advanced 2, and went on to study with Queensland Ballet’s Pre-Professional Program and Tanya Pearson Academy.
​
He performed with the Victorian State Ballet and has appeared as a guest artist with Projection Dance, Byron Ballet, and Ballet Theatre Queensland. Tristan is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and sits on the RAD QLD Regional Panel. He is also a Rambert Grades Registered Teacher (contemporary)

His classes offer experienced dancers the chance to refine advanced technique and musicality in a supportive, inspiring environment.

All Motion by Premier classes are held in the beautiful studios of The Premier Dance Academy, located in Milton Village Shopping Centre on Baroona Road.

Our fully air-conditioned studios feature full-length mirrors, timber barres, and professional sprung floors with premium dance vinyl — designed to support and protect every dancer.
​
We also have on-site toilet facilities and an administration desk open during business hours and throughout all classes, Monday to Saturday, to assist with any questions or enquiries.
