Comdance Pre-Primary Exam 2022

Entries are now closed.

Your child is invited to take part in a Comdance (CSTD) Pre-Primary Exam, to be held in July this year at the Premier Dance Academy Milton studios. All assessments are held on a weekday during school time.

Exams are conducted and observed by a Comdance examiner. Entrants perform their syllabus work that has been covered in Pre-Primary ballet classes this year, and will receive a result form, certificate & medal upon completion.

Assessments are always optional at Premier Dance. The Comdance exam is not compulsory but is a great introduction to the dance assessment process at our school. If you choose not to enter your child's progress will not be affected. They will be eligible to move to the next grade and do an assessment next year if desired. You may also choose to sit an RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Class Award later in the year; as well as or instead of the Comdance exam.

Commitment: Students wishing to participate in an assessment must commit to full attendance at their regular classes. All entrants will be required to attend two compulsory workshops during the school holidays (Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July - morning times TBC once entries have been received - please do not enter if you are unavailable on any of these dates).

Requirements: Uniform is compulsory. Students must wear a Premier Dance pink leotard & skirt, ballet tights and ballet shoes. Please contact the office if you do not yet have any of these items. Grooming and presentation is assessed; no earrings, makeup or nail polish can be worn, and hair must be in a neat ballet bun.

To enter: Complete the online registration & payment below by Wednesday 4th May. By registering your child's participation in the Comdance Pre-Primary Exam you agree to attend all regular classes during Term 2 and the compulsory workshops on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July.
